Whether you’re curious about ticket purchases, event logistics, or any other related queries, you’ll find the information you need right here. What type of events do you host?
  • Here at Lawrie & Symington we host our own programme of ticketed events included live music, drive in cinema, murder mystery evenings and other dinner entertainment. Find out what’s on and buy tickets here
  • Our venue also hosts a wide range of open to the public events by other organisations.
Is the venue available to hire?
  • We have a number of event spaces available for hire to private, corporate and agricultural clients.
  • Our versatile event spaces are suitable for a wide range of private and business events from weddings, charity balls, private parties, ceilidhs, concerts and funeral teas to board meetings, business conferences, trade shows, team away days and training courses.

How do I arrange a viewing?
  • If you are interested in holding an event at Lawrie & Symington you can arrange a viewing by contacting our event manager on 01555 662281 or by completing our events contact form.
How do I make a booking?
  • To make a booking or enquire about availability you can contact us by using the events contact from or email our events manager at events@lawrieandsymington.com
Do you have onsite parking?
  • Our main car park has spaces for up to 500 cars, however for larger events we have overspill carparks available on request. Please discuss this with the event manager when booking your event
Do you allow overnight parking?
  • Overnight parking is currently available for those attending weekend events only.
  • Overnight access is permitted from Friday at 6pm through to Sundays at 8pm, however please be aware that as a working market there will be trucks arriving during this time. Please contact the event manager at events@lawrieandsymington.com if you intend to park overnight as some restrictions may apply.
  • No overnight parking is permitted during the week unless pre-arranged with the event manager or market staff in advance.
Do you allow camping?
  • We do not permit camping anywhere on our grounds. No tents are allowed anywhere on our grounds. You can find local campsites here
  • Overnight parking is permitted for self-sufficient vehicles only.
  • Please be aware while we do allow overnight event parking, we do not offer electriocal hook up points, outdoor bathroom facilities or running water.
  • Access to venue bathrooms will be from 9am on event days.
Do you have onsite catering?
  • We have restaurant and snack bar facilities on site which are available on all auction sales dates.
  • The restaurant and snack bar are also available for some private events which can be discussed at the time of booking.
  • For weddings, private parties, funeral teas and business events, we can offer a range of bespoke catering packages.
Do you have a bar?
  • We have two bar areas within the building, but as all of our event spaces are fully licensed, we can arrange for mobile bars to be set-up in any of our event spaces.
Is there an ATM machine at the venue?
  • We do not have an ATM machine at the venue, however, our onsite restaurant, snack bar, licensed bars and shop take card payments as well as cash
Is your venue accessible?
  • Disabled parking is available at the front of the car park to all disabled badge holders.
  • Disabled bathroom facilities are located on the ground floor.
  • Lift access is also available for guests who need to access our first floor facilities.
  • Please contact the event manager at events@lawrieandsymington.com if you have any concerns regarding access prior to a visit.
